Handing over the keys of the AQ 500 convertibles in Naaldwijk

After much – international – attention for the striking AQ 500 convertibles during the last Fides Flower Festival, it was time to hand over the keys to buyers of Arctic Queen. This time, Rene Rietdijk of FlowerForce and Emiel van der Voort of Intergreen were the lucky ones.

On Friday 29 June, the Arctic Queen team was reconvened to surprise buyer of Arctic Queen, Rene Rietdijk. To did not immediately hand over the key, Rene was warmly welcomed in the AQ Icetruck. While enjoying ice cold refreshments, the sustainability movie of Arctic Queen was shown. The Chrysanthemum buyer could see  that Arctic Queen has by far the longest shelf life. Thereafter, Andre Satter handed over the key of the AQ-500 convertible. With a smile on his face he received the key.

The second handing over followed by Intergreen. Emiel van der Voort was warmly welcomed in the AQ Mobile Ice Truck. Thereafter, Grower Jan van Tuijl rewarded his buyer. He is allowed to drive the AQ500 for a free month. The Chrysanthemum buyer was visibly surprised with this gift. After a first short drive in the AQ500, the growers talked with the visitors about the surprising and unexpected visit.

Arctic Queen campaign
The crowning of the Arctic Queens of the Month were part of the AQ campaign. Other parts of the AQ campaign are the monthly handing over the keys of the AQ 500 convertibles, the use of sales support such as displays, the Try-it-Yourself-boxes and product presentations across the whole of Europe.
