Promising bedding plant introductions in 2010

During the Fides Flower Festival in week 24, new varieties and series were shown. See below for a short summary of our highlights. These products are certainly worth a try! Ask your production information officer what the possibilities could be for your assortment.

Nemesia Angelart®
Pineapple and Strawberry are the latest additions to the Nemesia Angelart series. Pineapple is characterized by its creamy yellow colour and has the same qualities as the Pear variety. With growing qualities similar to Orange, the red Strawberry is a welcome addition.

Grand Idols®
In the past season, they have already been supplied to the market in small numbers but now the moment has finally arrived to officially introduce Grand Idols® Neon and Red Bicolor! Neon has an intense, almost fluorescent colour, Red Bicolor is a beautiful two-tone red and white variant! Red Bicolor and Neon have enriched the series; the series currently consists of no less than 6 colours!

Petunia Fortunia®
Through introduction of the Petunia Fortunia Pink Picotee, Fides has no less than three stable Picotee varieties to its name: Purple, Burgundy and Pink! This deep pink colour forms a wonderful addition to the existing varieties and performs nice and steady. The Picotee variants are also very suitable for mixing with the Fortunia® White.

Calibrachoa Lindura®
Fides will surprise the European and the American market with an entirely new Calibrachoa series under the brand name Lindura®. The name stems from two Latin words: Linda (beautiful/neat) and Dura (long-lasting). Evidently, this name has not been chosen by accident!
