Today, we invited back our trade partners that we visited during the Cut Chrysanthemum Flower Trials on Wheels. Using their input that we received during the two weeks ‘on the Road’ in the beginning of 2015, we organized ‘Taste of the Future part 2’.
From 12 – 14 March Rick Minck, on behalf of Fides, attended the EFU-EXPO in Baku, the capital of Azerbaijan. We visit this trade fair as one of the first breeders from The Netherlands to present the Azerbaijani florists the possibilities in the Fides Cut Chrysanthemum assortment.
Starting this week, Lin Flowers will start supplying Ibis and Ibis Sunny again after the varieties’ winter break. These beautiful flowers shine in the Fides ‘Best in White’ and ‘Best in Yellow’ Cut Chrysanthemum assortment respectively.
After visiting the flower auctions in Naaldwijk, Rijnsburg and Bleiswijk with the Calanday® Experience on the Road, the Calanday went straight to the flower auction of Aalsmeer. This stylish, colourful brand is promoted at the Cash & Carry of Waterdrinker from week 12 until week 17.
Our new single-flowered Kalanchoe brand - Calanday® - has spent the past few weeks on the road as the Calanday Experience. We visited our trade partners at the flower auctions of Aalsmeer, Naaldwijk, Rijnsburg and Bleiswijk to present them this new, cheerful brand.
Today was the last day of Horti Asia hosted in Bangkok. From 17 to 19 March Focco Prins, on behalf of Fides, introduced the Asian market to the latest additions to our Cut Chrysanthemum, Pot Chrysanthemum, Kalanchoe (Calanday®) and Calandiva® assortment. Our most famous and established varieties were present as well.
If you paid close attention at the FloraHolland Trade Fair in Aalsmeer and the IPM, you may have guessed it already. In week 11 and 12 Fides launches a new, colourful brand for the single-flowered Kalanchoe: Calanday®! A fides truck has been turned into the Calanday Experience and visits our trade partners and the FloraHolland Trade Fair in Naaldwijk personally to present the new, cheerful brand.
In cooperation with English wholesale-chain, Flower Vision, we asked florists to do something creative with Pinot Blanc, the true highlight of our ‘Best in White’ Cut Chrysanthemum assortment. The two florists with the most special creations won a makeover for their shop.

From Fides Roadshow to the always busy IPM and now to the Flower Shop Make-over! In cooperation with English wholesale-chain Flower Vision we have hosted a number of product presentations and demonstrations at various branches of Flower Vision in the United Kingdom.
